Mastodon and ActivityPub now fully working

Unless something went horribly wrong, the ActivityPub protocol now works on all Author Buzz UK sites. That means that Mastodon verified links should start verifying and Mastodon/Fediverse social media accounts can now follow our blogs.

Yes, you can now subscribe to Author Buzz blogs from within your Mastodon account.

One slight niggle. The ActivityPub plugin strongly recommends the Friends plugin, at present that particular plugin and the way we have set up the blogs do not play nicely. Sadly, that means it cannot be added yet.

Everything else should be working like a dream. A slightly odd dream though that may be.

Verified link still not working on Mastodon, but I’ve checked the page source of my AB blog and the correct link is being added to the page, so I guess Mastodon needs more time to sort it out
